{"id":303,"date":"2020-04-18T15:04:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-18T13:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.100.60\/?page_id=303"},"modified":"2020-06-20T09:36:22","modified_gmt":"2020-06-20T07:36:22","slug":"pulled-pork","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ericscookbook.com\/index.php\/recipes\/pulled-pork\/","title":{"rendered":"Pulled Pork"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yield: 12 servings<br>Time: 8 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 kg pork shoulder<br>250 ml tomato sauce<br>1 tbsp vinegar (cider or white)<br>2 tbsp brown sugar<br>\u00bd tsp onion granules<br>\u00bc tsp garlic granules<br>1 tsp ground black pepper<br>chili flakes or sharp paprika (to taste)<br>1 tsp liquid smoke<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut pork into 5cm cubes, removing any excessively large chunks of fat.\u00a0 Place all ingredients in a slow-cooker and cook for 8 hours on low heat.\u00a0 Remove meat\u00a0from slow-cooker and place in a sufficiently large bowl.\u00a0Reserve the liquid.\u00a0 Pull the meat apart into bite size pieces with two forks and set in a low oven until ready to serve.\u00a0 Skim\/drain the fat from the liquid and pour it into a small saucepot.\u00a0 Reduce over medium-high heat until slightly thickened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chef\u2019s Note<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If available, place pork shoulder whole into a smoker and smoke for 4-6 hours.
